Today marks the launch of EverQuest Capital Partners.
EverQuest Capital Partners is an independent venture capital fund manager led by an exceptional investment team. With over 30 years of experience, the team have invested in companies sold cumulatively for over £1 billion.
EverQuest Capital Partners has a strategic focus on investing in high-growth, deep tech businesses. The primary priority of the team will be investing in technology and manufacturing solutions with the potential to revolutionise industries like healthcare, semiconductors, renewable energy, and automotive in the UK.
Improving deal flow
EverQuest Capital Partners has formed a strategic partnership with CPI, a social enterprise and innovation catalyst. CPI works to accelerate the development, scale-up and commercialisation of smart AgriFoodTech, energy storage, HealthTech, materials, and pharma innovations.
This partnership with CPI will deliver proprietary deal-flow: CPI will identify quality leads, enabling EverQuest to engage with high-potential businesses quickly and ahead of the market, which in turn will accelerate the time it takes to reach commercialisation.
A progressive approach
EverQuest Capital Partners is a value-add investor. Through the strategic partnership they hold with CPI, companies that engage with EverQuest Capital Partners benefit from access to world-class facilities and the expertise of CPI’s people. This gives start-ups a better chance of reaching commercialisation more quickly than through traditional methods.
EverQuest Capital Partners are happy to take a lead on investments, or can act as co-investors, which can be an attractive prospect for potential investment partners considering our value-add offering and partnership with CPI.
Strengthening the UK’s capabilities
Stephane Mery, partner at EverQuest: “There is huge potential for growth at the convergence of advanced processes, materials and industrial designs. We want to help companies in those spaces bring their bright ideas to life and open doors for them. Ultimately, this will help to strengthen the UK’s capabilities in making and building things.”
Stephane is joined at EverQuest by partners Peter Smith, Hannah Wade, Ian Smith and Sarah Wang. The experienced team at EverQuest Capital Partners have an established track record of successful investments and exits and have been co-investors with many large-scale funds. Their multidisciplinary approach enables them to support businesses in law and finance matters, company management and sales.
